LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the national team’s squad for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh on Friday.
The PCB is expected to announce some major changes to the side after shake-ups following the World Cup.
According to sources, Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shahzad, Younis Khan and Nasir Jamshed will not be included due to their performances in the World Cup.
New players expected to be part of the squad include Fawad Alam, Junaid Khan, Muhammad Hafeez, Babar Azam and Sami Aslam.
Pakistan will travel to Bangladesh later this month and play three ODI matches, one T20 and two test matches. The ODI squad will be led by Azhar Ali who has replaced Misbah-ul-Haq while Sarfaraz Ahmed will be the vice captain in all three formats.
