Imran Khan to hoist PTI flag in Karachi’s Karimabad: Tareen

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) General Secretary Jahangir Tareen early on Saturday morning said that last night’s attack on the party camp was not possible without planning by the MQM’s sector in-charge in Karimabad.

Speaking to the media, he announced PTI Chairman Imran Khan will hoist the party flag in Karaimabad on April 9, 19 and 23 during his future visits to the metropolis in connection with the upcoming by-polls.

Commenting on the Friday night incident, Tareen said the MQM was scared of his party’s growing popularity in Karachi, adding that the PTI would not get scared by fascist tactics.

“Those doing politics of fear for the last 20 years are themselves scared of their imminent defeat,” he said.

Meanwhile, another PTI leader Arif Alvi said that MQM’s rule over Karachi would soon come to an end if his party remains steadfast.
